We are very happy to announce that we will be heading to Los Angeles California in November to record a new full-length album with David Larring.  We’ll keep you all informed of the progress and plans for the release of the new music.  We’re excited to let you hear the new music that we’ve been working on for the last few months.  Stay tuned for more news!

There are so many great lots that I could foreground here for a miscellany of grounds but as soul working in the music industry full-time I selected the circle who holds most worked me this yr. Allow me acquaint you to my friend bob

Opportunities are if you ever attend to any locus in VA/DC or Mendelevium you hold seen these hombres. They are difficult to miss- with an unmistakable image. Vocalizer, Mat Santoro, sports rainbow colour apprehensions and is covered in tattoos. It Holds a face you wo n’t bury. Guitarist Smith prefers blond apprehensions, and full arms. One aspect at this lot and you cognise they are instrumentalists… there is cypher 9-5 about their image. The only other work they might look normal in is a tattoo store!
Best friends turning up, Flatness and Adam organise a lot in their cellar ages ago, but the sets current origination was n’t solidified until 2004 when drummer, Drew Recny and bassist Carl Schmieg joined.

Whether or not their vulgar difficult rock/rap sound is your usual dish, it Holds virtually impossible to see them unrecorded and not be done into a truster. It Holds obvious they inhabit and respire what they do
( check out course 2! ), and one can not assist but hold fun when 800 other people are leaping upwards and downwards swinge the lyrics to one of their catchy hits. For those of you who are fans of such lots as Fury against the Machine, Incubus, and Hot dog Chili Peppers, you will love what you hear “ unadulterated stone and natural energy ”.
2008 holds been a large twelvemonth for shilling with the release of their much-anticipated launching record named “ bbbob ” called affectionately after their legendary manufacturer “GGGarth Richardson”
whose rife stammer exalted the name for their album. Garth brags an impressive sketch, holding produced such circles as: Atreyu, Madness against the Machine, Trapt, Mudvayne, Chevelle, RHCPthe listing moves along and along. In a music world obsessed with finding the next ‘flavor of the month’ band, Bob stands defiant. Record label A&R reps today are just glorified cool-hunters, endlessly looking for ‘the next big thing.’ They look at album sales, not quality of music; they look at appearance and show attendance instead of measuring intangibles that can’t be taught, like true passion and raw emotion.

Well, introducing possibly ‘the next big thing’ in rock music, Bob.

These guys are teeming with attitude and feeling. Their unabashed debut, ‘Bbbob,’ is a showcase of their socially aware sensibilities and flare for memorable songwriting, perhaps most noticeably on ‘Cali.’ Frontman Matt Santoro both condemns and exposes the excessive lifestyle of people who live there as he proclaims very vividly ‘F*** California’ throughout the chorus.

In so many words, ‘Bbbob’ isn’t shy about its bluntness. The record has no problem being brutally honest either.

Today’s music industry needs more bands like Bob; bands that aren’t afraid to buck the trends and swim upstream instead of going with the flow. It also wouldn’t hurt to have more bands this talented either.

Sure the comparisons are there. Besides the obvious comparison between frontman Santoro and 40 Below Summer frontman Max Illidge, their music is reminiscent of a mad scientist mixture of sorts of the fluidity and rap-infused nu-metal of 40 Below Summer, the grittiness and balls-out musical approach of (hed) P.E. and even the mainstream attractiveness of a P.O.D.

‘Bbbob’ seems to be able to hit on a variety of levels; whether you’re looking for something that could fit in on Hybrid Theory’s self titled EP from back in the day (‘Busted Dreams’), innovative, chunky guitar riffing (‘Bump in the Road,’ ‘Tip the Board,’ ‘Beyond Your Fingertips’), breakdown filled metal tracks that will have you thinking it’s 2001 (‘What We Do,’ ‘Cali,’ ‘Trigger Man’) or a spiteful track directed at that special someone (Nancy), ‘Bbbob’ has what you want.

‘Bbbob’ is just the start of a band that sounds as if they want to take over the world, but in the meantime they would settle for getting a whole hell of a lot of people the mosh pit.

Rock 4 Kids 12/20 @ State Theatre

We are proud to announce that on 12/20/08 we will be headlining a show that will benefit the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C. The 3rd Annual Rock 4 Kids concert event and toy drive is brought to you again this year by our very good friends at Locals Only Radio and will be hosted by The State Theatre in Falls Church Virginia. Past years have raised thousands of dollars in donations to support Children’s Hospital. Please help us make this year the best ever. A portion of all ticket sales as well as all toy and monetary donations will go to benefit Children’s National Medical Center.

There are so many great bands that I could spotlight here for a variety of reasons but as someone working in the music industry full-time I chose the band who has most influenced me this year. Let me introduce you to my friend bob.

Chances are if you ever go out to any venue in VA/DC or MD you have seen these guys. They are hard to miss- with an unmistakable image. Singer, Matt Santoro, sports rainbow colored dreads and is covered in tattoos. It’s a face you won’t forget. Guitarist Adam Smith prefers blonde dreads, and full sleeves. One look at this band and you know they are musicians…there is nothing 9-5 about their image. The only other workplace they might look normal in is a tattoo shop!

Best friends growing up, Matt and Adam formed a band in their basement years ago, but the bands current inception wasn’t solidified until 2004 when drummer, Drew Recny and bassist Carl Schmieg joined.

I’ve now had the pleasure of seeing these guys grow from playing an unpaid showcase at TT Reynold’s on a Tuesday night back in 2004 to virtually selling out venues like State Theatre and headlining several other markets out of our area as well. They are now a powerhouse in our region, outdrawing nearly all other local bands, with a legion of loyal fans who support their every move. Assemble the best support team around you.� #6. Work harder than you can imagine, and finally, #7- Be nice. No one likes to work with arrogant jerks. These are easily four of the nicest dudes I have ever met in any industry.
